Hello, Three years ago I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, had successful surgery and was told the cancer had not spread. Just days ago, after several CT scans, I was told that the cancer had metastisized to my lung and that I would have to begin a year-long treatment with interferon. So far, I have not received any information about this treatment, except for the material on the internet. Can anyone help me please with feedback about this treatment: how successful is it, what are the real side effects, does this treatment affect one's ability to continue working, and how in general does it affect one's life?
