First time using this - so not too sure if it will work.

I have a question. My son now 21 is 16 months post chemo for Osteosarcoma Fibula, he had the standard chemo protocol of Cisplatin, Doxorubicin, Methotrexate, Methotrexate for 3 cycles prior to fibula removal, then because of heart issues the chemo was changed post op to ifos, Carboplatin and Etoposide with MTX, MTX for 2 cycles, then changed again because of neutropenia/heart to Ifos, Etop, MTX, MTX for the following 4 cycles. He is now NED back at university and generally feeling great.

My question is this: Since the end of chemo 16 montha ago he has had a persistent cough, just like 2 or 3 litle coughs about every 2 - 3 hours, his xrays are clear, but this cough bothers me considerably (probably more my problem though than his -whatifitis!). He has spoken to both oncologist and surgeon about it but tends to play it down. Do you think this cough is a normal side effect of chemo? He has not had a CT scan since 6 months post chemo - should he be asking for one?

Many thanks Shelly
