Note about password: Listserv passwords can use characters from the set: A-Z a-z 0-9 $#@_-?!|%.

Passwords are not case sensitive, nor are Listserv commands or email addresses.

In order to get a password you will go to "Get a Password" page

Please enter your e-mail address and the desired password, then click on the "Register password" button. If you already had a LISTSERV password, but cannot remember what it was, this procedure will automatically replace your existing password with the new one you will be entering below.

Note that registering a password does not authorize you to post to a list or access list archives: for most ACOR lists, you must also be a list subscriber. The listserv password just allows Listserv to authenticate you as a subscriber.

After you enter your email address and a password you will receive via email a confirmation message that you must respond to. In recent versions of listserv, the confirmation message will include a link to a webpage. Clicking on the link is all that is necessary tto fully register your password.
