[edit] Basic Editing Instructions
Editing this Wiki isn't that hard, really, it mostly involves typing as you normally would in text boxes. Try the following method for adding and editing a new page:
- Click on the the link at the top of the page that has Your name (IMPORTANT: be sure to be logged in as yourself first)
- If you've not entered any text previously in this page, you will enter the editing mode immediately; otherwise click the Edit tab the near the top of the page if page
- Type in the name of the page you want to create in between double brackets: [[The LO-Wiki Wiki Document blah blah]] (which creates: The LO-Wiki Wiki Document blah blah)
- Click on "save"; look at your edits on the preview page, and save again.
- Click on the new red link you just created to edit the new page.
- Write whatever you want in the text box that comes up (or paste in the text of a document you've been working on), add any necessary wiki markup (e.g., ''' on either side of some text will make the text bold).
- Document your changes in the one-line "Summary" field; then press save (twice, as before), and the new page now exists.
Hint: to examine how any effect was achieved on any page, just click the "edit" tab for that page and have a look. Wiki markup is pretty simple and self-explanatory.

To assign your page to a category, embed a tag into your page with the following syntax: [[Category:<category name>]], where <catgeory name> = the name of the category. You may assign multiple categories to your page.
